Archiving and Repository Policy
Digital Archiving Policy
Applied Aspects of Information Technologies is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of its published content.
The journal is published using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which supports digital preservation and interoperability with trusted archiving services. To guarantee sustainable access to scholarly content, the journal ensures that all published articles are archived and preserved through:
- the journal’s official website and database;
- institutional repositories;
- national and international digital preservation services compatible with OJS, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).
In the event that the journal ceases publication, all archived content will remain accessible via these preservation systems, ensuring uninterrupted availability for the academic community.
Repository (Self-Archiving) Policy
Applied Aspects of Advanced Information Technologies adheres to open access principles and actively supports the self-archiving of research outputs by authors.
Authors are permitted to deposit their articles in institutional, subject-based, or other non-commercial repositories, as well as on personal or academic websites, under the following conditions:
- Preprint (manuscript before peer review): may be shared at any time;
- Postprint (accepted manuscript after peer review): may be deposited immediately after acceptance;
- Published version (Version of Record): may be deposited and shared immediately after publication.
There is no embargo period for self-archiving.
When depositing articles in repositories, authors must:
- provide a full bibliographic citation of the original publication in the journal;
- include a direct link to the article on the journal’s official website.
All self-archived versions must comply with the journal’s licensing and copyright terms.
