International Summer School "Augmented Reality and Tourism"

A significant event in the cultural life of our city is the International Summer School "Augmented Reality and Tourism", which takes place at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Odessa with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service.

The organizers of the school are Professor of the Berlin Institute of Technology and Economics Jürgen Zick (Germany) and Professor, Director of the Institute of Computer Systems of the State University "Odessa Polytechnic" Svitlana Antoshchuk.

Participants of the International Summer School were:
- 7 professors and 10 students from the universities of Berlin and Augsburg (Germany);
- 5 professors and 10 students from Odessa Polytechnic and Western Ukrainian National University (Ukraine);
- employees of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Odessa.
 
During the week, participants will work on interesting projects that introduce modern developments in computer science in the field of "Augmented Reality" in the cultural heritage of Odessa.
